Q: What song do you play on repeat?
A: “Life is Beautiful” by Keb’ Mo’ is on repeat every morning.

Q: What’s the best way to start the day?
A: A quiet cup of coffee, before everyone wakes up.

Q: What are you most looking forward to this year?
A: Every year starts with the optimism to travel more and meet more people, hopefully this is the year for that!

Q: What is the most impactful project you’ve worked on and why.
A: Reshooting a catalog for Educational Insights based around inclusion and diversity.

Q: Which art/photo exhibit that you’ve seen has impacted you the most?
A: Yayoi Kusama Infinity Rooms are so interactive and allow the viewer to create art themselves; that is such a powerful tool to embolden the viewer to create something while experiencing your creation.

Q: What mystery do you wish you knew the answer to?
A: how my ATM cards disappear so often!

Q: What are some things you had to unlearn?
A: Over-valuing perfection, putting everyone and their needs before mine, and how to slow down.

Q: What fictional place would you most like to go?
A: Hogwarts, hands down.

Q: What have you only recently formed an opinion about?
A: My love for high-waisted jeans.

Q: What book impacted you the most?
A: The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho.

Q: What risks are worth taking?
A: The ones you take where you bet on yourself!

Q: What are the first 3 chapters of your autobiography titled?
A: Haunted House, Walking the Path, and Finding Your Own Way.

Q: What do you spend the most time thinking about?
A: The ocean and when i can get to it again to swim or Stand Up Paddle next.

Q: Best and worst advice you’ve ever received.
A: Follow the rules is the worst advice, and hardest to unlearn. Best advice was to listen to your self and find your own answers.

Q: How has your work evolved over the past few years?
A: I’ve learned to shoot more personal work, and create more for the sake of creating, and not for money. It has pushed my work in directions I never thought it would go, and brought me so much more joy than I could have imagined.

Q: One thing you can’t show up to a shoot without – Besides a camera 😉
A: An open mind.
