Q: What’s the best way to start the day?
A: Jumping into the cold ocean for 30 minutes straight.

Q: What are you most looking forward to this year?
A: Working on a massive black and white photo concept.

Q: What is the most impactful project you’ve worked on and why.
A: One of the projects that impacted me the most was living with and photographing for the foundation of Ashuar and Shuar native tribes in the rain forest of Ecuador. That was a rare and unique experience.

Q: Which art/photo exhibit that you’ve seen has impacted you the most?
A: Chuck Close, Gerhard Richter, Robert Frank, Elliot Erwitt.

Q: What mystery do you wish you knew the answer to?
A: Life after death.

Q: What have you only recently formed an opinion about?
A: Mescal Jalapeno Margarita. It’s brilliant!

Q: What risks are worth taking?
A: Driving with my 1962 Plymouth Barracuda to client meetings 600 miles away.

A: What’s for dinner.
