After teaching myself the workings of MidJourney the past few months, I was able to create an idea I've had for a while. This tech is extremely exciting and scary!!

#winepairing shot on location during a live event. The photo team and I were sequestered off in a side room making these during a wine pairing dinner made by celebrity chefs.
Joe Sasto’s Red Fife Tortelloni and part of a larger food and wine pairings project shot for Kosta Browne. This shoot was executed at a live event with celebrity chefs. Our small team was sequestered off in a side room with no windows and we were invisible to the guests themselves. The prop stylist and assistant were swapping surfaces like a nascar pit crew swaps tires. We had about 15 minutes for each shot and because of this we kept propping minimal and focused on unique surfaces between dishes and making the light as magic as possible with a few small tweaks between shots.
“Moving Portrait” of celebrity chef Claudette Zepeda as part of a larger wine and food pairing project. Her dish appears next to this photo in my library. Shot the same day.
