Alicia Stepp is an internationally published, award-winning fashion, beauty and portrait photographer. At an early age, Alicia adopted fashion as a form of self-expression, and when she was gifted a Polaroid camera in the early ‘80’s, she discovered her ability to capture life’s moments and tell personal stories through photography. Her work today reflects that same sense of visual fascination and play combined with a sophisticated sensibility that allows her work to straddle the commercial and editorial line. Her images are elevated but fun, with adventurous moments and emotional stories living side-by-side with clean, structured silhouettes that reveal her instinctive understanding of color, light, and form. Ten years as a graphic designer helped her develop and hone the aesthetic sensibility that inspired her to launch a career in photography in 2007. Her experience includes production assistance, marketing research and over a decade of experience in the industry–from art direction and production to scouting, lighting, and casting. Alicia’s always up for an adventure, and is available to clients worldwide, but her home base is in Dallas, Texas where she enjoys a life full of music, art, travel and quiet time at home with her husband and cats.
