Patrick was born in Nuremberg, Germany and grew up in a small town in Franconia. He studied photography and design at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (FH Bielefeld), where he subsequently graduated. In 2011 he exchanged the urban setting of Berlin, where he lived and worked for several years, for the sunny beaches of Los Angeles, where he is currently based. Patrick loves working with real people in their natural surroundings and stages them in an authentic way. His conceptual still life work often encompasses a humorous commentary. He is the happiest when he is in the midst of creating a new series of images and enjoys every part of the process, from conception to execution.
