Taylor Rainbolt is a photographer who splits her time between Los Angeles and New York. The underlying consistency of Taylor’s work stems from her keen eye for lighting and ability to play with color in new and unexpected ways. She avoids shooting in black and white, because it bums her out, and always prefers deliberate lighting, over natural light, in order to create her signature mood. Sometimes her creativity extends far beyond the purview of her lens, like when Converse asked her to create a custom pair of kicks in addition to shooting their campaign. As a female and a Mexican-American artist, Taylor is committed to championing minority groups and promoting diversity. At her core, she aims not only to create excellent work with her clients, but also serve as a storyteller and craft compelling visual narratives.
